Our Pastor: The Reverend Richard Ruff A retired pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle, PA. A retired chaplain/pastor of the Carlisle Hospital. Dean of the West Cumberland Conference. We are truly blessed to have a friend, guide and mentor. What is our mission?In response to Christ's love and command and as His church; our mission is to know Christ and to make Christ known to the world. We, the members of Center Evangelical Lutheran Church, commit to this mission. "And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
